Software Engineer, Enterprise Apps

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Develop and deploy backend services utilizing Golang and gRPC to enhance the capabilities of the CX platform and facilitate agent workflows across compliance and consumer teams.

• Take ownership of assessing, integrating, and providing ongoing support for third-party SaaS platforms, ensuring smooth connectivity throughout the CX tooling ecosystem.

• Collaborate with product, design, security, and data teams to create cross-functional solutions addressing complex operational and compliance challenges.

• Promote engineering best practices within the team, including conducting code reviews, developing testing strategies, streamlining deployment processes, and establishing observability standards (metrics, logging, tracing).

• Convert intricate technical concepts into straightforward recommendations for non-technical stakeholders across CX, product, and leadership teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of software engineering experience, with expertise in Go and practical experience in building scalable backend services using gRPC, event-driven architectures (like Kafka), and SQL or NoSQL databases.

• Proven experience in evaluating, integrating, and managing third-party SaaS applications and vendor APIs in a production setting.

• Experience managing production systems on AWS using Kubernetes, Terraform, and CI/CD tools (such as BuildKite), including the implementation of rate limiters, caching, load balancing, and circuit breakers.

• Demonstrated capability to contribute to technical architecture decisions and translate them into reliable, high-traffic production systems.

• Utilizes generative AI in a responsible manner, ensuring human oversight to deliver business-ready outputs and achieve measurable improvements in workflow efficiency, cost, and quality.

• Shows the ability to responsibly employ generative AI tools and copilots (for example, LibreChat, Gemini, Glean) in daily tasks, continuously learning as tools progress, and applying human-in-the-loop practices to produce business-ready outputs and drive quantifiable enhancements in efficiency, cost, and quality.
