This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.
• Design, automate, and manage integrations across enterprise applications and platforms utilizing Workato, custom connectors, and reusable automation frameworks.
• Architect scalable automation solutions and address complex integration challenges by leveraging Workato best practices, patterns, and governance standards.
• Integrate Workato workflows with AI/LLM services (such as OpenAI, Anthropic, or enterprise LLMs) to facilitate intelligent decision-making, content generation, or data enrichment.
• Create frameworks and reusable components for embedding LLMs into business processes, ensuring secure, ethical, and scalable usage.
• Assess new AI/LLM capabilities and suggest opportunities to incorporate them into enterprise automation strategies.
• Collaborate with business units and engineering teams to gather, refine, and translate requirements into dependable Workato workflows and integrations.
• Develop, optimize, and maintain ETL/ELT processes through Workato pipelines and related data integration tools to support precise business analytics.
• Identify and implement enhancements to rectify architectural gaps, boost performance, and decrease technical debt within automation and integration ecosystems.
• Engage in recipe reviews and architectural assessments to uphold quality, consistency, and adherence to platform standards.
• Oversee Workato deployments, versioning, and configuration changes, and actively partake in release planning and execution.
• Provide troubleshooting support, platform guidance, and mentorship to team members and stakeholders utilizing Workato.
• Keep abreast of advancements in automation, integration, AI/LLM, and Workato platform enhancements to continuously improve our integration strategy.
• Actively participate in team discussions and contribute insights on automation architecture, integration frameworks, and the Workato roadmap.
• A minimum of 2–4 years of hands-on experience in integration development, including designing, building, and supporting integrations across enterprise systems.
• At least 1–2 years of substantial, practical experience with Workato, covering recipe development, custom connectors, job frameworks, error handling patterns, and platform governance.
• Experience in architecting automation solutions using Workato or similar iPaaS tools, with the capability to define scalable patterns and reusable components.
• Strong understanding of APIs, webhooks, REST principles, and payload formats like JSON and XML.
• Familiarity with ETL/ELT concepts and experience in supporting or creating data pipelines.
• Exposure to AI/LLM technologies and the ability to integrate AI services into automation workflows.
• Knowledge of responsible AI usage, including security, compliance, and data-handling considerations when working with LLMs.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to troubleshoot complex integration issues from end to end.
• Capability to manage multiple priorities, work autonomously, and excel in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively partner with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
