Software Engineer, DevInfra

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• We collaborate with diverse teams to enhance their software development lifecycle, ensuring it is optimized for speed, safety, and reliability.

• Our responsibility includes deploying AI tools such as Claude Code across our entire engineering team.

• We support systems that process over 1 trillion user-generated events monthly, all while maintaining low end-to-end query latency.

• Mixpanel operates entirely on Google Cloud Platform and Google Kubernetes Engine.

• We hold the overall service ownership for Kubernetes.

• We are responsible for the service ownership of our observability pipelines.

• We manage our CI/CD pipelines based on GitHub Actions.

• We oversee our devbox system, which provisions cloud development environments for individual developers.

• We source the best-in-class SaaS tools for the engineering team.

• We facilitate the onboarding process for new engineers.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of industry experience.

• Proficiency in at least one of the following: Go, Python, or JavaScript/TypeScript.

• Practical experience with Kubernetes in a production environment.

• Experience managing infrastructure within a major cloud provider, such as Google Cloud Platform, Amazon Web Services, or Azure, with a preference for Google Cloud Platform.

• Familiarity with coding agents, including Claude Code.
