Software Engineer, December 2026 Grads

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and sustain backend systems, APIs, and automation workflows that drive AI-powered applications on a high-traffic platform.

• Create custom integrations and connectors between internal services and external APIs.

• Construct and manage enterprise knowledge systems, including similarity search, vector databases, and retrieval pipelines for RAG and agent-based applications.

• Enhance the reliability, performance, and scalability of automation and workflow systems.

• Implement observability, logging, alerting, and business metrics.

• Contribute to platform tools using full-code solutions and workflow automation platforms like n8n.

• Deliver clean, testable, production-ready code along with documentation and operational guides.

• Articulate technical concepts to both engineering and non-engineering audiences.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 2 years of professional experience in software engineering.

• Proficiency in one or more of the following languages: Python, TypeScript, or C#.

• Experience in designing, building, and managing production-grade services, integrations, or automation systems.

• Strong understanding of modern AI system fundamentals, including RAG, agents, and LLM tools.

• Practical knowledge of vector databases, similarity search, and retrieval optimization techniques.

• Familiarity with APIs, microservices, and event-driven architecture.

• A strong emphasis on testing, observability, and performance for backend systems.

• Familiarity with low-code/no-code automation tools such as n8n, or a willingness to learn them.

• Ability to excel in a high-ownership, fast-paced environment while balancing rapid iteration with long-term maintainability.

• Capability to collaborate effectively with both engineers and non-engineers.

• Possible requirement to obtain a gaming license issued by the relevant state agency as a condition of employment.
