This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Portugal.

• Assist in the design, development, and upkeep of backend services and workflows.

• Aid in the creation of APIs and the integration with various systems and services.

• Help identify and resolve issues related to performance, scalability, and reliability.

• Engage in technical discussions and collaborate on design choices.

• Contribute to testing methodologies, including unit and integration testing.

• Review peer code and uphold shared coding standards.

• Proven experience in software development, especially in backend or platform-oriented systems.

• Background in working with distributed systems, microservices, or cloud-based applications is advantageous.

• A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent hands-on experience.

• Proficiency in one or more programming languages (e.g., Java, Python).

• Familiarity with cloud technologies and environments (e.g., AWS, containers, Kubernetes, Docker).

• Understanding of APIs, integrations, and service-oriented architectures.

• Familiarity with databases, data structures, and fundamental software design principles.

• Experience in supporting troubleshooting and debugging across various application layers.
