Software Engineer – Backend, Partner Experience

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Europe.

📋 Description

• Conceptualize, establish, and enhance our platform for partner and developer experiences.

• Ensure a microservice architecture that is scalable, maintainable, and secure.

• Design and advance RESTful APIs, MCP tools, and customizable components that support both our products and partner integrations.

• Contribute to architectural decisions and technical RFCs within the engineering team.

• Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and frontend engineers in a cross-functional environment.

• Monitor, diagnose, and enhance the performance and reliability of production services.

• Implement unit, integration, and end-to-end tests.

• Participate in our compensated on-call rotation to support production systems (optional).

• Engage in our hiring process as an interviewer (optional).

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven expertise in developing testable, maintainable, scalable, and extensible architectures.

• A strong commitment to best engineering practices and a passion for excellence.

• Familiarity with distributed architecture patterns and anti-patterns.

• Over 5 years of relevant experience with Java/Kotlin and Spring Boot.

• Proficient in REST APIs, with knowledge of authentication and authorization topics.

• Skilled in relational databases, preferably PostgreSQL.

• Experience in MCP server development.

• Familiarity with using agentic AI throughout the software development lifecycle.

• Excellent automation testing capabilities.

• Strong skills in cross-functional collaboration.
