Software Engineer – Backend, Funds Transfer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Europe.

📋 Description

• Collaborating with team members to lead epics and technical initiatives.

• Actively contributing to the development of our technical direction and architecture.

• Ensuring the implementation of a scalable, maintainable, and secure micro-service architecture.

• Participating in the on-call rotation and supporting the overall team efforts.

• Facilitating communication and sharing knowledge within the team.

• Working closely with both the product manager and engineering manager.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience with Java and Spring Boot (or a comparable stack).

• Proficiency in creating testable, maintainable, and extensible systems.

• A strong commitment to best engineering practices.

• Excellent problem-solving abilities.

• Expertise in REST APIs and event-driven communication patterns.

• Familiarity with relational databases (preferably PostgreSQL).

• Experience with AWS and Docker technologies.
