Software Engineer, Auth & Access

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Create, test, and implement scalable, secure, and thoroughly documented microservices utilizing Go, Python, and/or Node.js.

• Develop and sustain backend code that supports essential Auth/IAM technologies, including OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect (OIDC), JSON Web Tokens (JWT), and single sign-on (SSO) processes.

• Actively engage with AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Cursor) to facilitate code generation, create robust automated unit tests, and enhance debugging efficiency.

• Collaborate with containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes, deploying cloud-native services across AWS Cloud Services (EC2, S3, Lambda, DynamoDB).

• Create automated test cases for both new features and existing services, leveraging CI/CD pipelines to enforce automated quality standards.

• Collaborate with product managers and senior engineers across various time zones to clarify requirements, evaluate technical feasibility, and conduct comprehensive code reviews.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3–5 years of professional experience in software development, focusing on backend systems and API development.

• Expertise in Go, Node.js, and/or Python.

• A thorough understanding of contemporary web security and authentication frameworks, specifically OAuth 2.0, OIDC, and JWT.

• Hands-on experience deploying software on AWS along with a practical understanding of container orchestration (Kubernetes) or Infrastructure as Code practices (Terraform).

• Proven experience utilizing AI coding assistants to enhance individual productivity, identify bugs, and elevate overall code quality.
