Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.

📋 Description

• Work alongside skilled software engineers to design, build, and sustain high-quality software solutions.

• Contribute to frontend and/or backend components based on team requirements.

• Develop and/or utilize RESTful APIs.

• Produce clean, maintainable, and well-tested code in accordance with engineering best practices.

• Engage in code reviews and strive for continuous improvement in code quality.

• Create automated unit and integration tests.

• Operate within Agile methodologies and apply modern engineering practices, including Clean Code, testing, CI/CD, and a focus on continuous enhancement.

• Collaborate with Product, QA, UX, and DevOps teams to deliver impactful software.

• Acquire knowledge of new technologies, tools, and engineering practices with guidance from senior team members.

• Responsibly utilize AI-assisted development tools to boost productivity while ensuring code quality.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficiency in software development using at least one modern programming language, such as TypeScript/JavaScript, Python, Java, or similar.

• Grasp of software engineering principles, data structures, and object-oriented programming.

• Acquaintance with TypeScript and contemporary web development concepts.

• Basic understanding of React or another modern frontend framework.

• Knowledge of REST APIs and client-server communication.

• Familiarity with Git and collaborative development practices.

• Basic knowledge of SQL and relational databases.

• Understanding of unit and integration testing concepts.

• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and collaborative software development.

• A strong desire to learn, curiosity, and a commitment to ongoing improvement.

• Effective communication skills in English.
