This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee the development and execution of clinical solutions addressing global technical services challenges related to EDC tools and SAS programming.
• Spearhead the creation of visual analytics dashboards utilizing Spotfire or Tableau.
• Carry out tasks using Medidata Rave, Oracle Inform, or proprietary software in alignment with Fortrea SOPs, work instructions, and project guidelines.
• Execute post-production modifications to EDC databases and enhancements for SAS programs, encompassing edit checks, listings, and protocol deviations.
• Collaborate with Data Managers to review contractual commitments and project timelines.
• Serve as the subject matter expert and primary contact for technical services concerns pertaining to EDC tools or SAS programming.
• Deliver statistical programming assistance for the creation and upkeep of SDTM and client standards datasets.
• Design and validate custom/complex SDTM domains, managing external data and reconciliations.
• Establish and execute SDTM automation, standardization, and optimal programming practices.
• Plan, implement, and supervise study programming tasks, including resource estimation, timelines, quality assurance, and collaboration with various departments and clients.
• Conduct testing, troubleshooting, error resolution, documentation, peer reviews, and quality control of study designs.
• Engage in process evaluations and validation of new or revised software.
• Stay informed about advancements in new EDC products.
• Anticipate resource needs and assign project tasks to team members.
• Recognize trends, produce reports and metrics, showcase programming procedures to sponsors or auditors, and aid in ECRF and study-document design.
• Undertake other assigned responsibilities.
• A degree from a university or college in life sciences, health sciences, information technology, or a related field is preferred.
• Relevant work experience or education plus experience equivalent to a bachelor's degree may be accepted in lieu of a formal degree.
• Equivalent relevant experience may be taken into account as a substitute for educational prerequisites.
• Proficient in English, both written and spoken.
• 5 to 8 years of pertinent experience in data management and database support, SAS programming, or Spotfire/Tableau development.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive mindset.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Basic understanding of clinical trial processes, data management, biometrics, and systems applications is preferred.
• Capacity to work collaboratively within a team setting.
• Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision.
