Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Algeria.

📋 Description

• Develop and expand Base360.ai, an AI-driven operating system tailored for short-term rental enterprises.

• Design and create scalable applications, services, and APIs focused on reservations, availability, pricing, payments, guest experiences, and property management.

• Construct event-driven workflows to automate cleaning schedules, check-in instructions, and owner statements.

• Leverage LLMs and AI agents to streamline guest communication, prioritize maintenance requests, support pricing strategies, and assist operators in managing their portfolios.

• Establish APIs that link internal services, booking channels, third-party providers, and customer systems.

• Develop and support integrations with platforms such as Airbnb, Hostaway, Stripe, Twilio, OpenAI, Google, and other partners.

• Address operational challenges related to reservation and availability synchronization, dynamic pricing, smart locks, guest communication, cleaning, maintenance, owner reporting, financial workflows, monitoring, and alerts.

• Take ownership of projects from inception to completion, encompassing understanding operator challenges, architecture design, implementation, deployment, and continuous enhancement.

⛳️ Requirements

• Located in Algeria.

• Proven experience in building and managing production software.

• Proficiency with Python, FastAPI, React, or similar frameworks.

• Strong grasp of APIs, databases, and cloud infrastructure.

• Ability to operate independently and make informed technical choices.

• Excellent problem-solving capabilities and a product-oriented mindset.

• Eagerness to explore AI, automation, and operational efficiency.

• Proactive approach to action, delivering results, and learning from user experiences.

• Bonus: familiarity with short-term rentals or hospitality technology, multi-tenant SaaS, booking channel integrations, AI agents, event-driven architectures, Supabase, or AWS serverless solutions.
