SQL Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Design and implement SQL-driven ETL processes to transition public safety data from legacy systems into the Mark43 platform.

• Work in partnership with data migration contractors, assess technical outputs, and offer guidance.

• Engage with customers’ records management teams to comprehend legacy data structures and adapt them to the Mark43 schema.

• Examine uniquely formatted source databases, pinpoint edge cases, and ensure data integrity.

• Collaborate with deployment, engineering, and product teams to enhance migration tools and processes.

• Manage project timelines and quality standards while fostering relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

⛳️ Requirements

• Candidates must be authorized to work for any employer in the country where the position is being filled.

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in data migration, ETL development, or SQL development roles.

• Profound knowledge of SQL and relational database architecture.

• Proven experience in crafting complex SQL scripts.

• Capability to analyze and convert legacy data models into new schemas.

• Experience in managing contractor deliverables is advantageous.

• A keen interest in public safety data and the significance of high-quality migrations on customer success.

• Previous experience with public safety or government systems is a plus.

• NPPV3 (Non-Police Personnel Vetting Level 3) and SC clearance required; Mark43 will assist and support the vetting process.
