Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, troubleshoot, maintain, and integrate modules for applications.

• Collaborate with internal business units to gather requirements for application development.

• Create applications that enhance productivity and facilitate information sharing across the company.

• Contribute to the development of internal applications and optimize business workflows within the civil engineering sector.

• Write unit and functional tests, as well as conduct manual testing of applications.

• Identify issues with internal applications and implement solutions.

• Present technical proposals for process enhancements, including estimates for work and cost savings.

• Assess existing services/applications, new services/applications, and custom development solutions.

• Collaborate with regional IT team members and managers on the deployment of enterprise-wide initiatives.

⛳️ Requirements

• Expertise in object-oriented Python development, with preference for frameworks such as FastAPI, Django, or Flask.

• Experience in front-end JavaScript/TypeScript development; familiarity with React is a plus.

• Proficiency in SQL and relational databases; knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server is advantageous.

• Ability to work with third-party APIs that may have limited or no official documentation.

• 3–5 years of experience in Python programming.

• Bachelor's degree or Associate's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering/Development, or a related field is preferred.
