BigMachines Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Collect requirements and convert business needs into functional specifications.

• Design, create, and test BML scripts alongside Oracle CPQ configurations.

• Implement and oversee Oracle BigMachines data models, workflows, and integration points.

• Work with application and technical teams to integrate ERP, CRM, and other backend systems.

• Enhance BML code for improved performance and maintainability.

• Diagnose and resolve production issues.

• Conduct unit, integration, and user acceptance testing.

• Document development processes, technical designs, and user manuals.

• Stay informed on Oracle CPQ features, updates, and best practices.

• Guide junior developers and participate in ongoing improvement initiatives.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of practical experience with Oracle BigMachines and CPQ.

• Strong expertise in BML scripting and Oracle CPQ configuration.

• Proven capability to design and implement intricate pricing, bundling, and discounting strategies.

• Experience with Oracle Integration Cloud, as well as REST and SOAP APIs.

• Comprehensive understanding of data modeling, workflow design, and enterprise architecture.

• Exceptional problem-solving abilities and meticulous attention to detail.

• Strong communication skills and the ability to work efficiently in a distributed, remote environment.

• Demonstrated success in delivering high-quality solutions on schedule and within budget.

• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum development methodologies.

• Proven ability to mentor and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
