Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Create and launch AI product features that are customer-facing.

• Develop contemporary web applications utilizing React and TypeScript.

• Construct backend services and APIs using Python and TypeScript.

• Design and implement relational data models with PostgreSQL.

• Integrate large language models, third-party APIs, and customer data sources.

• Deploy and manage production services on AWS.

• Enhance application performance, reliability, observability, and security.

• Collaborate closely with founders, product leaders, designers, and clients.

• Take ownership of projects from the initial problem definition to production.

• Contribute to the establishment of engineering standards as the team expands.

⛳️ Requirements

• Between 1 to 9 years of professional software engineering experience.

• Strong production experience in Python, TypeScript, or both.

• Proficiency in building web applications with React or NextJS.

• Experience in developing APIs, backend services, and database-driven applications.

• Knowledge of PostgreSQL or another relational database.

• Proven track record of independently delivering significant product features.

• Strong product judgment and a keen eye for user experience.

• Comfortable working across various layers of a technical system.

• Ability to function effectively in a fast-paced and sometimes uncertain environment.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
