Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.

📋 Description

• Assist in the design, development, testing, and deployment of cutting-edge software applications and AI-driven tools.

• Support the integration of Generative AI technologies into both internal and customer-facing products.

• Work collaboratively with cross-functional engineering teams to prototype new capabilities.

• Create APIs, automation workflows, and scalable backend services.

• Engage in Agile software development practices, including sprint planning, daily standups, and code reviews.

• Investigate and assess new AI/ML frameworks, tools, and technologies.

• Contribute to the development of cloud-native and containerized environments.

• Assist in documenting technical solutions, system architecture, and development processes.

• Aid in ongoing improvement initiatives aimed at modernization and innovation.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, Mathematics, or a related technical discipline.

• Experience through internships, academic projects, research, or personal projects in software development.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Eagerness to learn and adapt to emerging technologies, especially Generative AI.

• Capability to work efficiently in a collaborative team setting.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Active US Security Clearance - TS.

• Preferred Technical Exposure: Familiarity with some of the following is advantageous:

• Python, Java, JavaScript, or Go.

• REST APIs and microservices.

• Version control using Git/GitLab/GitHub.

• Cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.

• Docker, Kubernetes, or containerized development.

• Frontend frameworks like React or Angular.

• Data processing and automation scripting.

• Understanding of AI/ML concepts or experience with tools such as OpenAI APIs, LangChain, vector databases, or LLM integrations.

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps practices.
