This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in District of Columbia, +8 more states.
• Design and sustain Salesforce Health Cloud solutions utilizing Apex, Flows, OmniStudio, and Lightning Components.
• Configure Salesforce features to meet business needs and improve user experiences.
• Develop and maintain custom workflows, automation, and platform-based solutions.
• Assist in integrating Salesforce with enterprise applications through APIs and integration platforms.
• Engage in the design, testing, deployment, and support of new features and upgrades.
• Adhere to engineering standards, coding best practices, and security protocols.
• Collaborate with product owners, business analysts, and stakeholders to convert business requirements into technical solutions.
• Work in partnership with Sales, Operations, Marketing, and IT teams.
• Take part in Agile ceremonies, such as sprint planning, daily standups, backlog refinement, and retrospectives.
• Contribute to peer code reviews, knowledge sharing, and ongoing improvement initiatives.
• Communicate project updates, technical challenges, and potential risks.
• Create and run unit tests; assist with integration and user acceptance testing.
• Diagnose application issues and resolve production defects.
• Support deployments and validate post-release activities.
• Monitor system performance and identify opportunities for enhancements.
• Engage in root cause analysis and implement corrective measures.
• Aid CI/CD processes and adhere to SDLC standards.
• Manage user stories, technical tasks, and development activities in Azure DevOps.
• Generate and update technical, configuration, support, and operational readiness documentation.
• Document application modifications, deployment processes, and troubleshooting methods.
• Facilitate knowledge transfer.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Over 2 years of software engineering or application development experience.
• More than 2 years of Salesforce development experience, including Apex, Flows, Lightning Components, or OmniStudio.
• Familiarity with Salesforce Sales Cloud; experience with Health Cloud is advantageous.
• Proficient in working with APIs, integrations, or connected enterprise applications.
• Solid understanding of Agile methodologies and software development lifecycle (SDLC) practices.
• Experience utilizing AI-powered tools to enhance development productivity, testing, troubleshooting, and documentation.
• Knowledge of Large Language Models (LLMs), prompt engineering, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), and agentic development.
• Successful completion of Humana's AI skills assessment.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication abilities.
• Capacity to manage multiple priorities and collaborate effectively in a team environment.
• Minimum home internet speed of 25 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload.
• Dedicated workspace free from interruptions to safeguard member PHI/HIPAA information.
• Preferred: Salesforce Certified Associate, Salesforce Administrator, or Platform App Builder certification.
• Preferred: Experience with Salesforce Health Cloud.
• Preferred: Experience integrating Salesforce with external systems using APIs or MuleSoft.
• Preferred: Experience with JavaScript, web technologies, and modern UI frameworks.
• Preferred: Familiarity with Azure DevOps, Git, and CI/CD tools.
• Preferred: Background in healthcare, health insurance, or other regulated industries.
