Mobile Developer I

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Develop and sustain cross-platform mobile applications using React Native for both iOS and Android under the mentorship of senior mobile engineers.

• Convert UI/UX designs and wireframes into high-quality, responsive code.

• Integrate mobile applications with RESTful APIs and third-party SDKs.

• Diagnose and resolve bugs, performance issues, and platform-specific inconsistencies between iOS and Android.

• Engage in code reviews and implement feedback from senior engineers.

• Write and maintain essential unit and integration tests to ensure application stability.

• Communicate effectively in a remote setting, including maintaining an active on-camera presence during meetings when required.

• Collaborate in a cross-functional environment and shift between front-end, integration, and debugging tasks based on priorities and business needs.

⛳️ Requirements

• Some previous technical experience in mobile development, software development, or a related technical field OR a bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or another programming/technology-related discipline from an accredited higher education institution.

• Proficient knowledge of React Native and JavaScript/TypeScript, including fundamental React concepts such as components, state, props, and hooks.

• Basic understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and/or Agile delivery methodologies.

• Familiarity with mobile UI/UX principles and a desire to enhance skills across both iOS and Android.

• Experience utilizing Git for version control and interfacing with REST APIs.

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

• Health IT experience (preferred).

• Capability to communicate with or without reasonable accommodation.

• Depending on assignment, ability to visit other locations or stand, walk, and handle light to medium weights of 10–50 pounds.

• Good hand-eye coordination, arm, hand and finger dexterity, and visual acuity to use a keyboard, operate equipment, and read technical documentation.
