Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design and implement backend services utilizing Java and Spring Boot.

• Create and enhance frontend functionalities using React.

• Produce clean, thoroughly tested code in line with best practices.

• Collaborate on the design and execution of features.

• Engage with PostgreSQL databases, including spatial data (PostGIS) and multi-tenant setups.

• Troubleshoot production issues and enhance system dependability.

• Work alongside Customer Success to identify and resolve client concerns.

• Develop in-depth knowledge of routing, billing, and waste management processes.

• Contribute to documentation and facilitate knowledge sharing.

• Take part in an on-call rotation supporting the team.

⛳️ Requirements

• 2–4 years of professional experience in software engineering.

• Strong foundational skills in at least one backend programming language (Java, Python, C#, Go, or similar).

• Proficiency with contemporary frontend frameworks (React, Vue, Angular, or similar).

• Experience with relational database systems (PostgreSQL, MySQL, or similar).

• Knowledge of REST APIs and web service architectures.

• Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented design principles.

• Familiarity with Git and version control practices.

• Experience in writing unit tests.

• Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach.

• Ability to thrive in a startup environment where priorities may change.
