This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Create service-oriented software utilizing C# within the .NET framework.
• Proven experience integrating agentic AI as a core component within daily operations.
• Focus primarily on the service and database layers of the software architecture.
• Analyze, develop, and evaluate functional requirements for products based on use cases provided by Product Management.
• Ensure the scalability, reliability, consistency, and performance of the product.
• Work collaboratively with cross-functional team members to support product operation and maintenance.
• Examine complex software systems and collaborate with others to enhance the quality and support the operation and maintenance of these systems.
• Partner with team members, teams, and stakeholders to design, implement, and maintain product functionalities, developing efficient, reliable, reusable, and high-performance code.
• Suggest and assess technical solutions as part of research initiatives and AI-driven designs.
• Review, debug, and provide constructive feedback on code produced by fellow team members.
• A Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related discipline, along with 2 to 4 years of relevant experience.
• Capability to comprehend any segment of the software stack.
• Ability to thrive in a setting where team members work both remotely and collaboratively.
• Experience with C#, IIS, .NET, ASP.NET, Entity Framework, and NuGet packages.
• Familiarity with developing or utilizing RESTful APIs.
• Proficient in SQL and relational database schemas.
• Experience in writing unit tests, functional tests, integration tests, and/or end-to-end tests.
• Familiarity with at least one continuous integration system (such as Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Circle CI, etc.).
• Proficient in using git as a version control system.
• Understanding of industry best practices regarding secure coding, code quality, and architecture.
• Experience with the complete development lifecycle in an agile environment.
• Good understanding of network security, certificate management, and encryption methods.
• Solid understanding of Azure Active Directory and Active Directory.
• Familiarity with services offered by major cloud providers, preferably those from Azure.
• Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal, along with effective presentation and interpersonal skills.
