Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, enhance, deploy, and provide support for Epic integrations and associated applications.

• Contribute to the technical design and architectural decisions that foster scalability, reliability, and maintainability.

• Collaborate with Epic Analysts, Product Owners, QA, and Operations teams to deliver effective business and clinical solutions.

• Promote operational excellence through production support, incident management, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives.

• Develop and maintain technical documentation, system architecture diagrams, build and deployment guides, SOPs, workflows, and support knowledge articles.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical discipline is required.

• A minimum of 2 years of software development experience with a proven track record in designing and delivering enterprise applications.

• Strong expertise in:

• o C#

• o .NET Framework / .NET Core

• Experience in building and supporting:

• o RESTful APIs

• o SQL Server and relational database design

• o Entity Framework Core

• o Data model design and scaffolding

• o MongoDB or other NoSQL databases

• A solid understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC), Agile methodologies, and DevOps practices.

• Experience in developing scalable, maintainable solutions utilizing established architectural patterns and design principles.

• Proficiency with source control systems, CI/CD pipelines, and contemporary software development tools.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, debugging, and troubleshooting capabilities.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Experience with Epic integrations, HL7/FHIR, and Mirth Connect is highly preferred.
