Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Deliver intricate, high-impact platform features, such as versioning systems, approval workflows, and permission models.

• Engage in architectural decisions that scale across diverse customer configurations.

• Contribute to the creation of Architecture Decision Records (ADRs).

• Assist in modularizing the core domain.

• Perform in-depth architectural code reviews.

• Contribute to automated quality gates.

• Utilize Cursor and Claude to minimize boilerplate and concentrate on complex implementations.

• Aid in refining AI-first patterns, including agentic testing and automated reviews.

• Collaborate with a high-caliber engineering team to facilitate the platform's growth.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 3 years of professional full-stack experience.

• Solid engineering fundamentals, encompassing system design, database optimization, and clean architecture.

• Capability to understand and contribute to complex domain objects and data models within production environments.

• Proficiency in transforming ambiguous requirements into clear technical specifications in collaboration with product managers.

• Strong working knowledge of defensive coding practices and authorization models for the protection of sensitive data.

• Proven track record of writing clean, maintainable code accompanied by comprehensive testing.

• Dedication to documentation and observability.

• Familiarity with React and/or Next.js (preferred).

• Strong understanding of Ruby on Rails conventions (preferred).

• Experience with document generation, rich text editors, or systems that handle unstructured data in secure workflows (preferred).

• Background in compliance-heavy industries such as GovTech, FinTech, or HealthTech (preferred).

• Experience with or an eagerness to learn AWS infrastructure, including ECS/EKS and CloudWatch (preferred).

• Previous experience in a fast-growing startup within the $5M–$30M ARR range (preferred).
