Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

• Design, test, and implement high-quality, scalable software solutions.

• Engage in technical discussions and play a role in system architecture decisions.

• Utilize contemporary AI-assisted development tools.

• Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and engineers to address user requirements.

• Enhance application performance while ensuring security and reliability.

• Detect and resolve technical challenges.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 4 years of experience in software development.

• Expertise in full-stack JavaScript/TypeScript environments, notably the MEAN stack (MongoDB, Express, Angular, Node.js).

• Proven ability to work with AI-augmented development tools (e.g., Cursor, GitHub Copilot).

• Strong background with both relational and NoSQL databases.

• Understanding of search indexing and vector search (e.g., MongoDB Atlas Vector Search).

• Extensive experience with testing frameworks (Jest, Cypress, Playwright).

• A security-focused approach towards data protection.

• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

• Previous experience in a startup or scale-up setting.
