Software Engineer – Agentic Search Systems

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Engage in a 25-minute conversational interview regarding production search systems.

• Delve into topics such as search quality, evaluation, system requirements, optimization, and the trade-offs made in actual systems.

• Provide specific insights and lessons learned from deployed search systems.

• Optionally take part in a compensated 30-minute live discussion with the Mercor team.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in delivering production search systems, particularly in agentic search systems.

• Demonstrated ownership of relevance or retrieval for systems utilized by real users.

• Ability to measure impact and enhancements in search systems.

• Experience in developing systems associated with agentic search.

• Proficient in scaling data infrastructure for contemporary search systems.

• Capability to discuss search quality, evaluation, requirements, optimizations, and system trade-offs.

• Completion of a 25-minute conversational interview is mandatory.

• No coding or take-home assignments are necessary.
