This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Design and implement scalable platforms, services, and internal tools for Rula’s Revenue Cycle Management team.
• Develop and uphold systems that facilitate payments, claims submission, and operational workflows throughout the revenue cycle.
• Utilize software engineering principles, product-oriented thinking, and continuous enhancement to tackle intricate operational issues.
• Collaborate closely with engineering, operations, and business stakeholders.
• Enhance efficiency, reliability, and cost-effectiveness within revenue cycle operations.
• Lead planning, execution, success evaluation, and post-launch support throughout the development lifecycle.
• Conduct thorough investigations into complex problems and guide them towards resolution.
• Contribute to Rula’s mission of delivering evidence-based, compassionate mental healthcare.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or another engineering discipline.
• Over 3 years of professional engineering experience.
• Proven experience collaborating directly with product and design teams.
• Proficient in creating highly responsive, scalable, reliable, available, and high-performing systems.
• Experienced in managing all stages of the development lifecycle: planning, execution, success measurement, and post-launch support.
• Intermediate knowledge of modern application architecture, API design patterns, data modeling, security, performance, and scalability.
• Intermediate understanding of frontend architecture, including component-based design, state management patterns, and rendering performance.
• Familiarity with React, NodeJs, Typescript, Kafka, AWS, or similar technologies.
• Willingness to be on-call and to thoroughly investigate complex issues to bring about resolution.
• Experience on medium complexity projects with an emphasis on achieving sustainable outcomes.
• Must reside in the United States; currently, we are not hiring in Hawaii.
