This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +4 more states.
• Execute software testing assignments that enhance business functions and overall solution requirements
• Evaluate intricate test plans and designs to verify both new and existing software functionalities
• Transform test designs into either manual or automated test cases and ensure timely delivery
• Detect gaps in coverage and identify absent test scenarios
• Develop stable, efficient, and maintainable automated test scripts
• Guide and assist junior team members in creating both manual and automated tests
• Advocate for extensive automated testing and facilitate the release of quality software through automation and monitoring
• Engage in code reviews and apply coding best practices alongside organizational standards
• Enhance automated test code for operational excellence and sustainability
• Collaborate with clients and internal stakeholders to comprehend business impacts and technical challenges/opportunities
• Design testing solutions that fulfill customer requirements and team objectives
• Take ownership of the hands-on design, implementation, and support of project components
• Work together with senior Software Development Engineers in Test and QA Architects on technical vision and standards
• Evaluate usability/performance trade-offs and make informed decisions for team success
• Address complex issues by translating them into actionable solutions implementable by the team
• Develop test scenarios based on business and customer requirements
• Participate in design discussions, scoping, prioritization meetings, and Agile ceremonies
• Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in the design, delivery, and support of intricate projects across web platforms and mobile applications
• Direct hands-on experience with the specific technologies utilized in the team’s systems/solutions
• Demonstrated capability to produce engineering artifacts, including designs, algorithms, and implementations
• Bachelor's degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Experience in applying QA test automation with an object-oriented programming language, preferably Java
• Practical knowledge of API testing tools such as SOAP, RESTful, and Rest Assured
• Familiarity with SDLC and testing methodologies
• Experience using test automation tools like Selenium and RestAssured
• Understanding of fully automated QA practices, including TDD, BDD, performance, security, integration/compatibility, regression, and functional testing
• Working knowledge of API-Driven Development and systems design
• Experience at an enterprise-level scale and complexity
• Openness to travel as necessary for divisional/team meetings and other in-person engagements
• Must possess authorization to work indefinitely in the United States
