Software Development Engineer II, Search

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Develop, code, and enhance core search algorithms for execution on devices.

• Assume responsibility for intricate offline data delivery systems.

• Collaborate with various R&D and backend teams.

• Work directly with automotive OEMs to comprehend hardware specifications and resolve integration issues.

• Gather and analyze deep system telemetry to assess performance trade-offs.

• Establish the technical roadmap and produce technical design documentation.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent relevant experience.

• Strong expertise in C++.

• Experience with Python or other scripting languages.

• Demonstrated experience in analyzing and optimizing code for performance-sensitive environments.

• Understanding of data structures, algorithmic efficiency, and binary data formats.

• Strong analytical skills and the capability to substantiate technical decisions.

• Excellent communication abilities in English.
