Software Development Engineer II, Incidents

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Work collaboratively with your team to identify and define clear tasks.

• Implement the defined scope while ensuring timely and high-quality delivery.

• Design systems and make decisions that will support the rapid expansion of Mapbox’s customer base.

• Foster a culture of operational excellence by thoroughly testing and monitoring our systems and code, creating documentation, and being available to maintain the health of our services.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in backend-focused development.

• More than 3 years of experience working with distributed systems, preferably utilizing AWS tools or alternatives such as Azure/GCP.

• Proven experience in leading cross-functional teams of 5 or more members.

• At least 3 years of experience in product-focused development.
