Software Development Engineer I

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design and develop cloud-based software solutions, including APIs and websites, within a multidisciplinary Agile team.

• Engage in and lead the collection and documentation of technical requirements.

• Collaborate directly with UX Design, technical support, and technology leads to comprehend customer needs.

• Provide integration, onboarding, and ongoing support.

• Choose development strategies that can handle uncertainty in requirements and evolving needs.

• Implement best practices for application development, testing, and deployment in an Agile setting.

• Identify chances to enhance quality management processes.

• Assist in product assurance by diagnosing and resolving bugs.

• Develop user interfaces and APIs for customer onboarding, login, account management, hospital/partner integrations, and CGM data exchange.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field.

• 0-2 years of relevant experience.

• Experience in developing full-stack applications, ideally in a cloud environment like AWS, Azure, or GCP.

• Familiarity with modern authentication and SSO frameworks such as OAuth 2.0, OpenID, and/or SAML.

• Proficient in programming languages such as Kotlin, Java, Angular, JavaScript, TypeScript, or similar.

• Experience in creating frontend and backend applications utilizing contemporary frameworks and technologies.

• Knowledge of NoSQL databases like Cassandra, MongoDB, or DynamoDB, as well as RDBMS databases like MySQL, Postgres, or Oracle.

• Understanding of modern software testing tools and methodologies.

• Experience in building cloud-based container components and CI/CD pipelines.

• Experience in working within distributed environments.

• Capability to function in a dynamic team setting and manage time effectively to meet deadlines.

• Involvement in Agile software development practices.

• Familiarity with GitHub Actions, Helm, Kubernetes, Google Cloud Platform, or AWS.
