Software Development Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Deliver Level 1–3 application production support for Eligibility business clients, which includes monitoring, incident resolution, and proactive system health assessments.

• Evaluate and diagnose intricate application and system challenges; conduct root cause analysis and implement sustainable corrective measures.

• Collaborate with engineering, product, QA, operations, and business teams to address production incidents.

• Repair, optimize, and enhance existing codebases to improve system reliability, stability, and scalability.

• Execute debugging and validation across distributed application environments.

• Participate in on-call rotations as required to support essential production services.

• Contribute to the technical roadmap by fostering innovation and continuous improvement.

• Document solutions, operational procedures, and knowledge base articles.

• Design and implement new features, contribute to the technical architecture, and advance engineering roadmaps for adjudication and client experience systems.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 3 years of experience in application production support (Level 1–3), incident management, and troubleshooting for enterprise systems.

• More than 1 year of experience in Software Development Engineering using Java, Python, Postgres, Mongo, SQL, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.

• At least 1 year of experience with distributed systems, APIs, databases, cloud technologies (Azure and GCP), and AI Agents development.

• Familiarity with monitoring tools, logging frameworks, and IT operations processes.

• Capability to thrive in a dynamic, cross-functional environment.

• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving abilities.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science.
