Software Developer, Python – Mid-level

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Design and oversee the development of services and RESTful APIs using Python, TypeScript (Node.js), or Go.

• Create, implement, and enhance relational databases to ensure optimal performance, data integrity, and scalability.

• Write high-performing SQL queries while executing optimizations, indexing, and analyzing execution plans.

• Maintain code quality by adhering to development best practices, including Clean Code and SOLID principles.

• Develop and sustain automated tests, including unit and integration tests.

• Work collaboratively with the team to evolve architecture and enhance development processes continuously.

⛳️ Requirements

• Completed higher education, such as a technologist degree, bachelor’s degree, or postgraduate degree (lato sensu or stricto sensu) in Information Technology.

• Demonstrated experience as a Mid-level Backend Developer.

• Proficient in at least one programming language among Python, TypeScript (Node.js), or Go (Golang).

• In-depth knowledge of relational databases, including PostgreSQL, MySQL, or SQL Server.

• Experience in crafting and optimizing SQL queries, including joins, subqueries, indexing, and execution plan analysis.

• Familiarity with developing and consuming RESTful APIs.

• Knowledge of Git and CI/CD pipelines.
