This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Collaborate with internal users and departments to define, develop, and document software business requirements, objectives, deliverables, and specifications.
• Design, develop, document, and implement new applications and enhancements in line with business and technical requirements.
• Write, translate, and code software programs and applications based on specifications.
• Create new programming scripts and modify existing ones to improve functionality and/or performance.
• Design, execute, and monitor software performance tests to identify errors, implement improvements, and facilitate debugging.
• Compile statistics and generate reports for management and/or team members regarding programming status.
• Train end users on the operation of new or modified programs.
• Research, design, document, and adjust software specifications throughout the production life cycle.
• Provide on-call support; occasional travel may be necessary.
• Engage in compliance program objectives and undertake other assigned responsibilities.
• A college diploma or university degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Software Engineering, or a combination of 6 years of equivalent experience.
• A minimum of two years of relevant experience is required.
• Proficiency in C++/Linux/Oracle is highly preferred.
• Experience conducting interviews with end-users regarding functionality, interfaces, issues, and usability.
• Practical experience in developing test cases and test plans.
• Familiarity with agile methodologies and project management tools, such as Jira and Azure DevOps.
• Experience in cloud-first, API-first, and microservice architecture or strategies is advantageous.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices is a plus.
• Experience in building cloud-native applications within AWS is preferred.
• Strong understanding of coding methods and best practices.
• Working knowledge or experience with source control tools like TFS and GitHub.
• Familiarity with healthcare industry practices and HIPAA regulations is a plus.
• Awareness of relevant data privacy practices and laws.
• Ability to actively participate in and support compliance program objectives.
• Capability to interact cooperatively and respectfully with colleagues.
• Proficiency in C# and .NET is required.
• Experience with React is required.
