This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Define, develop, and document software business requirements, objectives, deliverables, and specifications in partnership with internal users and departments.
• Design, develop, document, and implement new applications and enhancements based on business and technical requirements.
• Write, translate, and code software programs and applications according to established specifications.
• Write and modify programming scripts to improve functionality and performance.
• Design, execute, and monitor software performance tests for error correction, enhancement, and debugging.
• Generate statistics and prepare reports for management and team members regarding programming status.
• Train end users to utilize new or modified programs effectively.
• Research, design, document, and modify software specifications throughout the production lifecycle.
• Participate in on-call availability; some travel may be necessary.
• Support customer-focused objectives and the IT vision at Navitus Health Solutions, a pharmacy benefit manager.
• College diploma or university degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or 6 years of equivalent experience.
• Minimum of two years of relevant experience is required.
• Experience in interviewing end-users regarding functionality, interface, problems, and usability issues.
• Hands-on experience in developing test cases and test plans.
• Familiarity with agile methodologies and tools such as Jira and Azure DevOps.
• Experience with cloud-first, API-first, and microservice architectures or strategies is an advantage.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices is beneficial.
• Experience in building cloud-native applications in AWS.
• Strong understanding of coding methods and best practices.
• Working knowledge or experience with source control tools such as TFS and GitHub.
• Knowledge of healthcare industry practices and HIPAA regulations is a plus.
• Understanding of applicable data privacy practices and laws.
• Participation in and support of compliance program objectives.
• Ability to consistently interact cooperatively and respectfully with colleagues.
• Required experience with C# and .NET technologies.
• Required experience with React.
• Remote work is not available to residents of Alaska, Hawaii, Maine, Mississippi, New Hampshire, New Mexico, North Dakota, Rhode Island, South Carolina, South Dakota, West Virginia, and Wyoming.
• On-call availability and some travel may be necessary.
