Software Developer – C++, Linux Embedded

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Development and enhancement of firmware for laboratory and industrial devices.

• Creation of contemporary desktop applications for the control and configuration of measurement systems.

• Implementation of software components for the processing, storage, and delivery of measurement data.

• Conducting code reviews, testing, and ongoing optimization of existing applications.

• Close collaboration with hardware development, applications, and product management teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Technical Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, or a related technical discipline.

• Minimum of three years of professional experience in developing C++ software on Linux.

• Experience with industrial, embedded, or near-hardware systems.

• Analysis and technical assessment of existing software, as well as migration to a sustainable new architecture.

• Strong proficiency in modern C++, preferably C++17 or newer.

• Good command of C programming language.

• Familiarity with modular software development, multithreading, synchronization, and resource management.

• Extensive experience in software development on Linux.

• Experience with databases, backend services, and APIs.

• Knowledge in creating automated tests, including unit, component, integration, and regression tests.
