This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pakistan.

📋 Description

• Code Quality & Refactoring: Assess, enhance, and solidify rapidly developed ("vibe-coded" / AI-generated) software into clean, maintainable, and production-ready code.

• Identify technical debt and vulnerabilities, proactively suggesting and implementing solutions.

• Develop patterns and standards for the team to utilize after the engagement concludes.

• Supabase Architecture & Security: Take ownership of and enhance our Supabase architecture, encompassing schema design, row-level security, authentication, and access policies.

• Apply security best practices across our custom internal tools, including authentication flows, secrets management, and data protection.

• Review existing data models and access controls to address any shortcomings.

• StaydOS Feature Development: Create and expand features for StaydOS as priorities dictate.

• Work across both backend and frontend utilizing modern JavaScript/TypeScript stacks.

• Deliver quickly and reliably with a keen focus on quality.

• Documentation & Handoff: Document the solutions you create to ensure they are maintainable beyond the contract period.

• Collaborate asynchronously and during calls with the Stay'd team, ensuring reliable overlap during US working hours.

⛳️ Requirements

• AI-native developer: You utilize AI coding tools on a daily basis and understand their limitations; you can differentiate between robust AI-generated code and code that may fail in production.

• Strong in architecture: You can transform chaotic, quickly built software into structured, scalable, and secure solutions.

• Proficient in Supabase / Postgres: Hands-on experience with Supabase (or similar Postgres-based stacks), including schema design, row-level security, authentication, and APIs.

• Security-focused: You instinctively consider authentication, permissions, secrets, and data protection.

• Full-stack proficiency: Comfortable working in both backend and frontend environments; modern JavaScript/TypeScript stacks are preferred.

• Self-motivated: You thrive in a remote setting with minimal supervision and have a strong inclination towards taking action.

• Immediately available: You can start now and commit to a full 60-day engagement.
