Software Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and manage enterprise web applications and APIs for a federal government client.

• Collaborate within a DevSecOps/Agile framework throughout the entire Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

• Construct and oversee front-end and back-end components in accordance with Section 508 and U.S. Web Design Standards.

• Conduct code reviews, perform code scans, and address vulnerabilities utilizing Fortify and Sonatype.

• Create and sustain both technical documentation and code documentation.

• Assist with the integration of web content management systems and public-facing web portals.

• Develop and oversee application-level Plans of Action and Milestones (POA&Ms) for identified vulnerabilities.

• Engage in requirements analysis and design UI/UX wireframes.

⛳️ Requirements

• U.S. Citizenship is mandatory.

• Security Clearance: a minimum of T3 is required.

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.

• At least 5 years of experience in full-stack or application development.

• Proficient in Java, HTML5, PHP, or similar programming languages.

• Experience with RESTful APIs and service integration methodologies.

• Familiarity with Agile/DevSecOps practices.

• Knowledge of secure coding standards and static analysis tools.

• Understanding of Section 508 accessibility standards.
