Software Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of essential services that underpin our telecommunications platform.

• Engage with services responsible for the management, configuration, and updating of physical desk phones utilized by customers globally.

• Produce clean, maintainable code in alignment with established best practices and coding standards.

• Design and enhance services that empower customers to manage, configure, and update their devices on our telecommunications platform.

• Assist in ensuring the reliability and performance of services that support thousands of users.

• Participate in code reviews and leverage feedback to elevate code quality.

• Deploy services to production environments with the guidance of experienced colleagues.

• Monitor deployed services and actively contribute to diagnosing and resolving issues.

• Engage in on-call rotation to maintain platform stability.

• Collaborate closely with your technical product manager.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.

• At least 2 years of experience in a similar position within a team focused on revenue growth.

• Strong proficiency in Java, the Spring framework, and the overall Java ecosystem.

• Familiarity with backend microservices architecture.

• Experience in developing REST APIs.

• Ability to work remotely in an Agile setting.
