This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Design and create new features and tools that enhance healthcare software.
• Provide support and maintenance for existing products within the Patient to Payment technology suite.
• Develop or update components related to claims products.
• Utilize web technologies to modernize legacy applications.
• Construct cloud-based software by employing modern CI/CD methodologies.
• Implement new features while maintaining or improving current functionalities.
• Ensure a scalable and efficient system architecture is upheld.
• Conduct code reviews, ensure unit test coverage, and pursue continuous improvement initiatives.
• Identify and resolve security vulnerabilities.
• Facilitate automation and enhance productivity.
• Effectively communicate technical deliverables and challenges to team members and project leadership.
• Integrate valuable new technologies into the product's technology stack.
• Collaborate with support organizations to address production issues.
• Analyze, replicate, and resolve defects while providing root cause analysis.
• Troubleshoot functional and performance-related issues.
• Update code, deployment, and support documentation.
• A Bachelor's degree in software engineering or a related field; alternatively, 4+ years of experience in software engineering.
• Proven experience in software development within an Agile environment.
• Strong knowledge of Visual Studio, C#, C++, SQL, and WebAPI.
• Familiarity with unit testing frameworks such as nUnit, Moq, MSTest, or nspec.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Basic understanding of CI/CD processes and the integration of automation within CI/CD.
• Capability to collaborate effectively with developers and product owners.
• Strong knowledge of the .NET framework.
• Familiarity with Azure.
• Experience and understanding of Continuous Integration.
• Background in Automated Testing and Continuous Integration.
• Experience in Test Driven Development (TDD).
• Experience in developing cloud-based software solutions.
• Knowledge of the healthcare domain, particularly in Patient Accounting, Health Information Management, Revenue Cycle, and IT integration.
• Awareness of software development best practices, including code quality, unit test coverage, and security vulnerabilities.
