Software Architect, System Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +2 more states.

📋 Description

• Lead the architecture for cloud networking, encompassing orchestration, provisioning, and security solutions.

• Create innovative system architectures for DPU and NIC technologies.

• Develop comprehensive solutions spanning from the application level to hardware.

• Produce clear, effective, and reliable architecture specifications.

• Assess new technologies and swiftly create proof-of-concept prototypes for complete products and solutions.

• Collaborate with NVIDIA software and hardware architects, R&D teams, product managers, solution architects, application engineers, field engineers, and other global teams.

• Engage with high-profile customers on cutting-edge and future technologies and solutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• B.Sc, M.Sc, or PhD in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience.

• At least 2 years of experience as a Software Architect or System Architect.

• A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Software Developer.

• Extensive knowledge and experience with C and Python programming languages.

• Practical experience with Linux development.

• Familiarity with Docker and containerization technologies.

• Experience in cloud and data center networking.

• Broad understanding of networking protocols and typical network topologies.

• Strong skills in design, coding, analysis, debugging, and problem-solving.

• Capability to work simultaneously with multiple teams both locally and internationally.

• Excellent skills in communication, documentation, and presentation.

• Development experience with networking/security devices such as NICs, DPUs, switches, routers, or firewalls.

• Solid understanding of operating systems and drivers.

• Experience with DPDK, OVS, and OVN.

• Familiarity with Kubernetes components and subsystems, including CRDs, Operators, system plugins, and CNI plugin development, such as Calico and Flannel.

• Experience with OpenStack, OpenShift, and/or cloud APIs.
