Software Architect Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Define and enhance the architecture of software solutions, ensuring scalability, security, availability, and maintainability.

• Drive architectural decisions and strategies, taking into account both technical and business requirements.

• Create reference architectures, standards, guidelines, and best practices for development.

• Assess and recommend technologies, frameworks, and tools that align with the needs of the solutions.

• Establish distributed architectures, microservices, APIs, and system integrations.

• Recognize technical risks, performance bottlenecks, and opportunities for architectural enhancement.

• Assist development teams with technical decisions and the resolution of intricate problems.

• Ensure that solutions comply with the architecture standards and principles set by the organization.

• Collaborate with Tech Leads, Developers, DevOps, Security, Product teams, and other stakeholders.

• Engage in technical discussions, architecture reviews, and solution evaluations.

• Support modernization initiatives, technological advancement, and the minimization of technical debt.

• Produce and maintain architectural documentation and solution diagrams.


⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience as a Software Architect, handling high-complexity projects.

• Demonstrated experience in defining and evolving system architectures.

• Strong expertise in microservices architecture, REST APIs, and distributed systems.

• Solid understanding of architectural patterns and design patterns.

• Experience with system integration across various technologies.

• Knowledge of cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

• Familiarity with relational and non-relational (NoSQL) databases.

• Experience with DevOps practices, CI/CD, and observability techniques.

• Understanding of application security concepts and architecture.

• Ability to evaluate technical trade-offs and make informed architectural decisions.

• Experience working in agile environments and with multidisciplinary teams.

• Strong communication skills with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.

• Strategic and analytical mindset with the capacity to work independently in high-complexity scenarios.
