Software Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Latin America.

📋 Description

• Take responsibility for the technical delivery of client projects from the discovery phase to project completion.

• Shape solutions, contribute to scoping and estimating processes, approve technical methodologies, assist in team formation, and lead technical preparedness.

• Ensure high delivery quality while making critical technical trade-off decisions.

• Report progress and risks to management, escalating any scope or feasibility issues promptly.

• Design and implement cloud-based solutions utilizing Azure or AWS services.

• Develop full-stack applications using TypeScript and/or Python with frameworks such as NextJS, FastAPI, and LangGraph.

• Set up CI/CD pipelines and work with caches, message queues, relational databases, and non-relational databases.

• Create applications that are resilient, secure, scalable, maintainable, and high-performing.

• Collaborate with data scientists, engineers, cross-functional teams, and clients.

• Investigate new tools, frameworks, and methodologies in AI and software engineering.

• Lead by example across various teams; provide guidance and support to team members.

• Initiate projects, take charge of technical delivery, and guide teams to successful outcomes.

• Manage multiple priorities across one or more projects effectively.

• Evaluate, interview, and assess candidates in collaboration with the recruiting team.


⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated software engineering proficiency with TypeScript and/or Python across both frontend and backend development.

• Practical experience with cloud platforms, particularly Azure.

• Strong understanding of containerization, CI/CD processes, and API design principles.

• Capability to design and construct secure, scalable, and maintainable systems.

• Familiarity with AI frameworks such as LangChain, Semantic Kernel, and other relevant AI libraries or tools.

• Knowledge of RAG, agentic patterns, and workflow orchestration concepts.

• Formal education in engineering disciplines is preferred.

• Understanding of the AI software development lifecycle (SDLC).

• Experience in leading small teams.

• Familiarity with observability tools like DataDog or NewRelic.

• Excellent communication, problem-solving, ownership, accountability, adaptability, and teamwork skills.
