Software Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Europe.

📋 Description

• Assume the role of a systems architect for business-to-business (B2B) software implementation development projects.

• Lead client Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) integration endeavors focusing on requirement analysis, solution architecture, and strategic planning.

• Take responsibility for and execute software design and development tasks.

• Exhibit confidence in presentations during presales discovery sessions.

• Demonstrate strong skills in work estimation.

• Proactively collaborate with stakeholders to assess customer needs and ensure alignment with requirements.

• Collaborate with technical teams to foster business development opportunities within client organizations.

• Oversee the quality of development work based on your architectural designs.

• Communicate effectively with IT leadership in some of the world's largest corporations.

• Convert business integration requirements into architectural, functional, and technical specifications.

• Establish and enhance the formal definitions for operational requests, responses, and data exchanges.

• Develop a formal calling convention along with API and data exchange protocols.

• Contribute to ongoing process improvements and create repeatable methodologies and best practices.

• Participate in development activities as needed.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 7 years of experience working on data integration projects.

• At least 5 years of experience in PLM architecture.

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience.

• Proficiency in API design and programming within a complex application development environment.

• Experience in programming languages such as C#, Java, and/or Python.

• Expertise in designing enterprise-ready RESTful web service APIs.

• Familiarity with security, scalability, and deployment practices.

• Proficient in using JIRA or similar project management tools.
