This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Austria.

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable APIs using Go that support web and mobile applications.

• Create and enhance high-traffic, user-facing pages, ensuring quick load speeds, outstanding usability, and adherence to SEO best practices.

• Collaborate with fellow engineers, product managers, and designers to deliver new features from inception to deployment.

• Enhance system performance, monitoring, and developer experience throughout the technology stack.

• Lead technical design, code quality, and architectural advancements through Requests for Comments (RFCs) and code reviews.

• Execute A/B testing and rollout strategies for new features.

• Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance across all user-facing APIs and systems.

• Conduct code reviews, mentor colleagues, and participate in technical interviews.

• Extensive experience in designing and implementing full-stack applications.

• Strong proficiency in backend programming languages, with a preference for Go.

• Solid frontend expertise in JavaScript, modern HTML/CSS, and utility-first CSS frameworks such as Tailwind.

• Comprehensive understanding of API design, data modeling, and distributed systems.

• Experience with PostgreSQL, Redis, and event-driven architectures (e.g., gRPC).

• Proficient in writing clean, modular, and maintainable code.

• Ability to navigate technical debt and business priorities in dynamic environments.

• Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and collaborative when working with cross-functional teams.

• Excellent command of English and located within a European time zone.

• Formal education in Computer Science or a related discipline.
