Software Architect – AI, Agentic Systems

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Architect and oversee the creation of an AI-centric coding platform.

• Design systems that enable collaboration between AI agents and developers in real-time.

• Develop and execute agentic systems capable of:

• Planning tasks

• Writing code

• Running tests

• Deploying applications

• Integrate large language models (LLMs), particularly Claude, into production workflows.

• Design layers for tool usage (function calling) and agent orchestration.

• Implement methods for managing long contexts and multi-step reasoning processes.

• Establish architecture for scalable and distributed AI systems on AWS.

• Assess when to utilize .NET or alternative ecosystems, ensuring optimal tools for each task.

• Collaborate closely with engineering teams to transition architecture into production.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience as a Software Architect or Staff+ Engineer.

• Proven track record in building or designing AI/agentic systems.

• In-depth knowledge of:

• LLM integrations (especially Claude or similar models)

• Function calling and tool-use methodologies

• Agent orchestration and reasoning processes

• Prompt engineering and context management techniques

• Practical experience with AWS and intricate cloud-native architectures.

• Strong foundation in distributed systems and scalable platform architecture.

• Experience spanning various tech stacks (current expertise in .NET, but openness to other ecosystems).

• Capacity to make impactful architectural decisions in rapidly changing environments.

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence technical direction.

• Proficiency in English at a C1 level (both written and verbal).
