Software Application Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Define and lead the application architecture for cloud-based solutions utilizing Azure.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to refine both functional and non-functional requirements.

• Create architecture blueprints, reference architectures, roadmaps, and strategies for integration and migration.

• Ensure compliance with best practices for Azure.

• Oversee technical design and code reviews throughout the software development lifecycle (SDLC).

• Design and implement application migrations while modernizing legacy systems.

• Assist in defining CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure-as-Code, automation processes, and monitoring solutions.

• Mentor and work alongside development teams to enhance their skills.

• Produce and maintain comprehensive architecture documentation.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.

• A minimum of 5+ years of experience in software/application architecture.

• A significant portion of experience (2–4+ years) focusing on Azure cloud solutions.

• Practical experience with Azure services, including compute (VMs, Azure App Services), storage (Blob, Cosmos DB, SQL), networking (VNets, ExpressRoute), PaaS/serverless, and containers (AKS, Azure Container Instances).

• A strong grasp of cloud architecture principles.

• Proficiency in one or more programming or scripting languages such as C#, .NET CORE, or PowerShell.

• Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code, CI/CD, DevOps automation, and monitoring/observability tools.

• Exceptional communication skills.

• Certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer Associate or Azure Solutions Architect Expert will be highly regarded.
