Social Media Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Vietnam.

📋 Description

• Strategically planning, managing, and executing the social media strategy and content creation for Canva Vietnam, overseeing the entire process from ideation to publishing, community engagement, and reporting.

• Developing a content playbook driven by trends for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and other emerging formats, while leveraging real-time Vietnamese cultural moments.

• Creating the initial content library for the project, which includes on-screen appearances, shooting, editing, and asset creation utilizing Canva.

• Adapting global campaigns for Vietnamese educators, SMEs, freelancers, and creators to ensure cultural relevance from the outset.

• Collaborating with the UGC team to establish a local network of creators and influencers that enhances Canva's reach and authenticity.

• Implementing a performance measurement framework and providing a comprehensive insights and handover report upon project completion.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in social media marketing, with a focus on content creation, growth, and high-performing content, particularly on TikTok and Instagram Reels.

• A profound understanding of Vietnamese digital culture, trends, memes, and the creator ecosystem.

• A hands-on creator with strong storytelling and visual skills, comfortable with shooting, editing, designing in Canva, publishing, and performing on camera.

• Analytical and structured, with a proven ability to iterate quickly based on performance data.

• Exceptional communication skills in both Vietnamese and English, highly organized, proactive, and adept in a fast-paced environment.
