This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

• Develop, curate, and oversee a well-structured content calendar for Instagram.

• Increase Instagram followers and enhance engagement, focusing on community impact.

• Create, film, and edit captivating Reels showcasing NORY’s STEM programs.

• Optimize short-form video content to maximize reach, watch time, and viewer retention.

• Craft human-centered captions that link NORY’s values with the interests of parents.

• Convert technical curriculum themes into engaging weekly narratives.

• Design straightforward, brand-consistent static graphics and carousels.

• Monitor engagement metrics, including saves, shares, and direct-message inquiries.

• Analyze performance trends and refine the content strategy accordingly.

• Serve as NORY’s main brand storyteller.

• Capture significant moments through video and imagery to resonate with parents and educators.

• Demonstrated success in managing and growing brand Instagram accounts, preferably in parenting, education, pediatric, or family-oriented sectors.

• Strong portfolio showcasing expertise in short-form video editing for Reels/TikTok formats.

• Basic graphic design skills.

• Strong copywriting skills with a punchy style.

• Personable, engaging, and empathetic storytelling approach.

• Proactive self-starter with a high level of agency suited for a fast-paced startup environment.

• Capacity to receive constructive feedback and utilize data to inform decisions.

• Application must include currently managed Instagram handles or links to specific public posts/Reels that you have personally shot and edited.

• Application must include key metrics reflecting past social media successes.

• Submission of a resume and portfolio is required.

• Flexible working hours ranging from 10 to 20 hours per week.
