Social Media Manager, Chinese – Gaming

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in China.

📋 Description

• Engage with player feedback across various social media channels

• Collaborate with team members to establish Tone of Voice, FAQs, and response protocols

• Serve as the primary contact for Community Managers during the absence of the CM Lead

• Oversee client interactions during CM Lead's absence

• Cultivate a positive workplace, enhance engagement, and mediate conflicts

• Generate reports on content performance and provide recommendations based on insights

• Assist the CM Lead in preparing performance reports

• Take charge of the team’s Paid Social Media initiatives

• Support the CM Lead in community management processes and ensure timely service delivery across various projects

• Aid in training and coaching for Community and Social Media Managers

• Create content calendars with innovative ideas

• Organize social media content and craft copy that aligns with the brand

• Contribute to campaign planning, audience and trend analysis, and brand development

• Collaborate with the studio on imagery and generate static and video assets as necessary

⛳️ Requirements

• Previous professional experience in community management or social media within the gaming sector

• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills in English

• Familiarity with and strong understanding of Bilibili, Weibo, Douyin, and Xiaoheihe

• A genuine passion for video games and social media

• Solid knowledge of social media and community management platforms and channels, such as Discord, Twitch, Reddit, Instagram, and Facebook
