This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.
• Take full ownership of SwimOutlet’s and Sporti’s organic social media presence across platforms including Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts.
• Create engaging social media content and paid social creatives, encompassing short-form videos, user-generated content (UGC), motion graphics, and static visuals.
• Capture and edit content on-site as needed, including at pool decks and swim competitions.
• Develop a steady stream of creative concepts for testing on Meta and other paid social platforms.
• Direct and produce UGC by collaborating with the ambassador roster and creator network.
• Publish and schedule content across various social media channels.
• Transform existing footage, UGC, and static visuals into fresh formats and placements.
• Coordinate efforts between internal designers, the digital media team, and external freelancers, ensuring quality output.
• Utilize AI tools for brainstorming, scripting, editing, and generating content when applicable.
• Conduct an audit of branded social channels within the first 60 days and propose action items.
• Strategically plan, produce, publish, manage communities, and track performance across channels.
• Spearhead creative ideation and testing for paid social, focusing on hooks, angles, copy, and formats.
• Assess paid creative performance weekly with the CMO to determine subsequent production needs.
• Analyze key performance indicators such as CTR, CPM, thumbstop rate, hook rate, hold rate, engagement rate, and outbound CTR.
• Oversee the ambassador program, which includes recruitment, briefing, tracking output, evaluating ROI, and refining the roster.
• Manage community interaction through DMs, comments, and tagged content, escalating sensitive matters as necessary.
• Ensure social content aligns with product priorities, launches, and promotional events.
• Deliver weekly reports on organic performance and integrate insights into paid social strategies.
• Stay updated on platform changes, trends, competitors, and industry trends related to swimming and adjacent DTC sectors.
• Uphold SwimOutlet’s voice and tone across both organic and paid social media, as well as community interactions.
• Maintain a concise voice reference.
• Manage Tolstoy shoppable video for on-site engagement and relevance for retention.
• Must be personally invested in producing work, including shooting, editing, motion graphics, and static design.
• Capable of generating content that meets the standards necessary for paid media investment.
• Comfortable producing content on location, including pool decks and during swim meets.
• Proficient in preferred production tools such as Premiere, After Effects, CapCut, Figma, or Canva.
• Proven experience managing organic social for a consumer brand or retailer from start to finish.
• Demonstrated experience in creating paid social content with measurable commercial success.
• Background in managing an ambassador, creator, or influencer program with accountability for outcomes.
• Strong judgment in community management, including when to escalate issues.
• Comfortable analyzing performance data and social metrics, such as hook rate.
• Genuine understanding of the swim, aquatics, or endurance-sport sectors, or a credible pathway to gaining this knowledge.
• Familiarity with AI content production tools is advantageous, though not mandatory.
