Social Media Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Take full ownership of the social media calendar from start to finish, coordinating trips, partnerships, film launches, and brand initiatives.

• Oversee the content distribution across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and Facebook, ensuring timely posting.

• Develop recurring, branded short-form content formats.

• Transform long-form content into engaging short-form pieces.

• Craft compelling captions and hooks.

• Direct the design of overlays and covers, providing briefs to designers.

• Engage in pre-shoot planning to ensure short-form content is integrated into the production process.

• Act as the primary liaison for partner content related to social media channels.

• Manage direct messages, comments, bios, links, highlights, and pinned posts across platforms.

• Analyze retention, shares, saves, clicks, and growth on a weekly basis and compile a monthly report.

• Keep an eye on platforms and golf trends to pinpoint timely formats and opportunities.

• Collaborate effectively with editors, filmmakers, designers, the founder, and on-screen talent.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of three years managing social media for a brand, agency, media company, or creator, including experience in owning channels.

• Deep understanding of short-form content and the dynamics of Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and Facebook.

• A portfolio showcasing performance metrics, particularly in shares, saves, and viewer retention.

• Excellent writing skills for creating captions, hooks, and engaging content that drives retention.

• A creative eye for directing titles and covers, along with the ability to brief designers effectively.

• Capability to provide clear, actionable feedback to editors.

• Familiarity with and enthusiasm for golf.

• Ability to work swiftly, deliver results, and operate independently.

• Proficiency in platform back ends, scheduling tools, native analytics, and UTMs.

• Preferred: skills in phone or camera shooting, paid social and whitelisting, motion graphics, and experience with creator-led brands.
